The conference explores the dialogue between mysticism and the writing of the body in Capvespres de foc i de grana, specifically in ‘Amor de cendra’ and the last stories of Anna Dodas. The narrator-poet finds herself in the midst of the darkness of desire and begins a sustained search for a transcendence through the body and the beyond that beats from the bodily transfiguration, the vision and the symbols that appear to her.

Dialogue between Carla Marco and Mireia Casanyes. Both form the Alum artistic research collective and their project is the result of a creative process of shared rhythm, from reading Anna Dodas and other authors such as Victoria Cirlot, or artists such as Maya Deren, who nurture a common substrate to be born ramifications and open them to new points of view.

Carla Marco i Mireia Casanyes

La Mireia Casanyes Dalmau és escriptora, poeta i investigadora predoctoral. Ha estudiat literatura comparada entre Barcelona i Köln i s’ha format en joieria artística i dibuix. És autora de L’ombra forana (Món de Llibres, 2021) i de l’epíleg de Primavera fosca, d’Unica Zürn (Wunderkammer, 2022), i ha participat al programa Young poems de la Haus für Poesie de Berlín. Escriu a Caràcters i El Temps de les Arts.

La Carla Marco és escriptora, poeta i projecte de metgessa. Centrada en la lectura de la teoria psicoanalítica, crítica d’art i literària. Ha publicat els llibres de poemes Utøya (Editorial Fonoll, 2022) i øculta Mel (Viena edicions, 2022). Ha participat en diversos recitals i ha col·laborat en un parell d’antologies i projectes poètics. Escriu a El Temps de les Arts i La Lectora.
